Allora, dovete sapere che una mia collega è in "dolce attesa" di un maschietto così visto che le avevo parlato tante volte della mia passione per il quilt ho deciso di farne uno per il suo bambino.
Sulle riviste ho trovato veramente tanti modelli che mi piacevano e alla fine ho scelto questo da un giornale che avevo acquistato a NYC la scorsa estate.

I found, on the magazines, some cute examples I liked but at the end I opted for this one from a magazine I bought in NYC last summer.
Poi ho scelto sul sito di Filomania le stoffe che mi sembravano adatte a questo tipo di lavoro che sono arrivate in due giorni e così mi sono messa subito all'opera.
Then I've chose some fabric from Filomania's onlineshop (they arrived in just two days!) so I started work on it!
Questo è il punto a cui sono arrivata, ora debbo mettere l'imbottitura e la stoffa del retro e poi impunturarlo.
Non vedo l'ora di averlo finito, e poi siccome sono gelosissima e non riesco mai a staccarmi dai miei lavori, ne farò subito un altro per poterlo conservare per me.
All'inizio temevo che l 'esecuzione fosse complicata invece è stato facile e divertente.

This is what I've done, now I've to put the filling and the back fabric on and then I can just start sew it.
I can't wait to see it finished, and then, as I'm so gealous of my works that I can't stand away from them, I'll start doing another one looking exactly the same.
